The most priceless resource that all educators have is each other and without collaboration our growth is limited to our own perspectives. Every educator needs to maximize one’s potential to reach every learner keeping in mind the motto ‘No child left behind’. The role of a teacher has many dimensions which are to be cultivated and enhanced diligently. To satisfy this need it is critical to pay close attention to aspects like “Why to train educators “as well as “How to do it?” The channel and strategy has to be well designed keeping in mind the masses. Thus, a highly proactive approach is needed to generate various opportunities, cultivate one’s creative expertise, build valuable relationships focused on team work and utilize one’s talent to the fullest.
Professional development at Joeys is a religious practice which is done on a regular basis throughout the year that comprises of reading relevant articles, viewing inspiring videos and demo sessions. A comprehensive, sustained & intensive approach is followed to improve an educator’s effectiveness in raising student achievement with the motto of honing skills of each individual as well as adding to the knowledge bank. Moreover it provides ongoing opportunities for educators to improve and expand their potential and skills to implement the best educational practices so that the benefits can be reaped fully by the learners and fruitful results are accomplished.
During our recent demo sessions, each & every educator proved to be a trendsetter with the sparkle in their eye and fire in their belly. Voila, what a sight it was! Their belief was reaffirmed in the fact that no matter how long the teacher has been teaching, there’s always room for pedagogical improvement.
