We provide an excellent student teacher ratio of 1:10 in Nursery, Junior and Senior Kindergarten and 1:15 from Class I onwards. Our team of highly committed teachers are dedicated to maximizing student potential. They are grouped according to Faculties that work across curricula and integrate their teaching- learning process.
Pre Primary Section
NANS provides opportunities for the growing child to develop physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually. We build a strong foundation on which children can grow to become life-long learners.
The children develop confidence in themselves and their ability to learn and focus attention on the various activities they engage in escalates.
A typical day includes Circle Time, Show and Tell, Art, Craft, Clay, Music, Dance, Language, Number work, Free Play and projects related to an understanding of their world.
Primary Section (Gr. 1-5)
A spirit of enquiry goes hand in hand with the smooth acquisition of language and numeracy skills. Our aim is to offer a broad and balanced curriculum. The subject areas range from English, Hindi, Mathematics, Gujarati, Social Studies, General Science and Environmental Studies, Music, Dance, Drama, Art, Technology, Physical Education, Social Education, Value Education, Karate.
The assessment of student work is continuous and broad in its scope. Students are encouraged to reflect on their work and make efforts for continuous improvement.
Secondary Section (Gr.6-8)
The Middle School Years are a time when intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth is happening manifold. Students are helped in keeping pace with accelerated academic challenges and get support in acquiring life skills. They are assisted with study skills and organization of their tasks. They are helped in terms of gaining confidence to perform in examinations.
The subject areas include and a third language Sanskrit is added to the curriculum apart from English and Mathematics. The program consists of individual and group activities outside the regular curriculum, as well as community projects and intensive intra and inter school activities.
